A beautiful collection of deceptively simple drawings. The lines are the key to these pieces and Fran employs minimalist and one line techniques to capture the essential spirit of the subjects. We truly hope you enjoy these works as much as we do.
Minimalist drawing. This is the third in a series that Fran is working on which revoles around the female form. There is a simple piece that tries to capture the beauty, confidence and fun of a woman. We hope you enjoy it.
This drawing was the second in a series of 'hug' based pieces. It is a powerful one line image which we hope captures the beauty of the moment.
From the moment we arrive on this planet, the hug is one of the first and most powerful forms of communication we encounter. Research shows that hugging is a healing act along with simply being lovely to engage in.
This one line drawing was inspired by a Robin, an Irish Setter that Fran owned. He was a beautiful, lovable and ditsy fella. Robin would often set the oddest things such as a peice of driftwood on the beach. It was hard to believe the Irish Setter originated as a gun dog as they are such a pleasant breed.
The drawing captures the fantastic pose that the Irish Setter adopts when pointing out the position of the game.
