A mother doesn’t stop being a mother once her children are grown. Likewise, a child doesn’t stop being a child to someone no matter how old we get, how independent we become or how successful we might be.
We will always be our mother’s child. It’s nice to remind our mothers that we recognise this.
This piece is the ideal gift for Mother’s Day or anytime we need to let our mothers know how much we love them.
The focus of this range is to capture the essence of the subject with the minimal use of line. The one line pieces are, as the name suggests, drawn with a single line, the pen or brush never leaving the paper creating deceptively simple images.
A limited edition print from an original work by Francis Leavey.
Prints are named, signed and numbered.

If you familiar with Leonard Cohen's song 'Tonight Will Be Fine' you will see how it influenced the piece as it was playing while I drew.
