One Line & Minimalist

This is one of my favourite drawings. For me it captures all the possibility and belief that every young woman should recognise. The girl in the image instinctively knows she is capable of anything and furthermore knows that she will achieve whatever she chooses to.

It is a popular and unique gift for women of all ages on any occasion. I hope it reminds every woman to believe without doubt that she is capable of anything.

I am not alone in my admiration for Audrey Hepburn. Not only was she a great actress but a woman who overcame much adversity and gave so much back to the world. She was the inspiration for this piece. There is something in the posture that shows a woman who is totally confident and independent.

I have tried to represent a transgender woman and the challenge of having been born into the wrong body. She is depicted with a tear in her eye signifying the challenge that lies ahead of her.
