Original Monoprints
A collection or original monoprints which finds its roots on our Inspired By Ireland collection of paintings.
Monoprinting is a type of printmaking where the intent is to make unique prints. Other methods of printmaking create editioned multiples, each monoprint in this collection is a 1 of 1 original artwork.
Each piece is made by creating multiple layers of paint, ink and other media to create truly unique piece of art.
Prints are float mounted in a solid wood Irish made frame and are individually signed.

Like many I was deeply saddened by the passing of Sinéad O’Connor. She has been part of the soundtrack of my life. This piece is in a sense a tribute to her influence on me and the world at large. I chose lyrics form her song Mandinka. The two lines in many ways encapsulate the defiant aspect of her character perfectly.
‘Sin é’ is Irish for ‘that’s it!
