Part of the Horizons series which expands on my Inspired By Ireland series of paintings. A focus on highlighting the colours of native fauna within the landscape.

Horses are such beautiful creatures. They seem to embody so many positive and noble characteristics - strength, gentleness, faithfulness, humility to name but a few.

The focus of this range is to capture the essence of the subject with the minimal use of line. The one line pieces are, as the name suggests, drawn with a single
line, the pen or brush never leaving the paper, creating deceptively simple images.

Liberty you Hall was designed by Desmond Rea O’Kelly and completed in 1965. For a time it was the tallest building in Ireland. Architecturally it falls into the International Style. It has fallen into disrepair in recent years but remains an iconic part of our architectural heritage. The site on which it was built has a rich and varied history.

This piece is part of our 'Inspired by Ireland' series.

Mountains are nature's cathedrals. Standing proudly in Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland, is the beautiful Sugarloaf mountain. She stands there, quietly surveying the world, a reminder to us all of the glorious potential of life's calling.

Malahide Castle is located in North County Dublin. It was home to the Talbot family for almost 800 unbroken years and it is still the ‘spiritual home’ of the nearby village.

Growing up, the castle and grounds were my playground and still hold a special place in my heart. The roots are strong.
