There's an old Chinese proverb that says, 'a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'. In the centuries since this was written it is as true as ever. Most things worth pursuing take time, take a thousand metaphorical steps. It can be daunting. I remember embarking on a three year HDip not so long ago and thinking I was mad. Three bloomin' years!! I showed up at the first lecture and before I knew it I had graduated. How did that happen? One step at a time is how it happened.

Whatever the journey is for you, however scary it seems now or however daunting, it just takes one step. Take that and then the next one. You will get there!
