There's two ways of looking at our lives. We can see ourselves as this small little boat bobbing up and down on the huge ocean. I imagine that perspective is daunting especially if you have dreams and aspirations. The other way to look at is that we are in our little boat but we have this expansive ocean in which to roam. Fran had this quote in his wallet for years but it was only when asked by a customer to do a print of it that this piece came to be. Initially the customer wanted the quote and this image but Fran felt it didn't work and drew this instead. It has gone on to become one of our most popular prints and is ideal for people starting a new chapter in life or facing change.

It can be hard to let kids make their own mistakes. As adults and parents we want what's best for them but at the same time we want to direct them along the right path. There lies the dilemma. What is the right path? We may have a sense of what we think it should be but that doesn't mean it's right for them.
